Summer Heights High is an Australian television mockumentary series written by and starring Chris Lilley. It is a parody of high-school life epitomised by its three protagonists: effeminate and megalomaniacal “Director of Performing Arts” Mr G; self-absorbed, privileged teenager Ja’mie King; and disobedient, vulgar Tongan student Jonah Takalua. All played by Lilley, the characters never interact. It lampoons Australian high school life and many aspects of the human condition and is filmed in a documentary style, with non-actors playing supporting characters.
Following a similar format to Lilley’s previous series, We Can Be Heroes: Finding The Australian of the Year, Lilley plays multiple characters in the show. Filmed in Melbourne at Brighton Secondary College, the series premiered on 5 September 2007 at 9:30 pm on ABC TV and continued for eight weekly episodes until 24 October 2007. Each episode was also released as a weekly podcast directly after its screening via both the official website and through any RSS podcast client in either WMV or MPEG-4.
Summer Heights High was a massive ratings success for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, and was met with mostly positive critical reaction. In 2008, the series won a Logie Award for Most Popular Light Entertainment/Comedy Program.

Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu is an action comedy family animated TV series that centers on the adventures of four ninjas. The series is based on the Lego toy series of the same name. Two pilot episodes were shown on Cartoon Network on January 14, 2011, sometimes split into four episodes. A video-game called Lego Battles: Ninjago was based on the show. Due to the popularity of the pilot episodes, the first season was launched from December 2011 – April 2012 alongside a new line of sets marketed as “Rise of the Snakes”. Take Me Out is a British social experiment television show hosted by Paddy McGuinness. It is based on the original Australian show Taken Out and began airing on ITV in the UK and TV3 in the Republic of Ireland on 2 January 2010; in September 2010, TV3 started broadcasting an Irish version of the show. The pilot episode was for Channel 4 in 2009. The series is produced by Thames for ITV.
The first series was filmed at Granada Studios, but due to the success of the first series, the second series was filmed at The Maidstone Studios in Maidstone, Kent which offered increased space and capacity for audience members. A third series ran from 7 January to 7 April 2012. On 14 August 2012, it was announced that Take Me Out had been renewed for two more series by ITV, along with spin-off show Take Me Out: The Gossip. The fourth series began on 6 October 2012—making it the first time that two full series of the show have aired in the same year—and ended on 1 December 2012. A Christmas celebrity special aired on 15 December 2012, featuring Matt Johnson, Keith Lemon and Joe Swash. A fifth series of eight episodes, significantly shorter than previous series, began on 5 January 2013 and ended on 23 February 2013.
