Everybody Hates Chris is an American television narrative sitcom that depicts the troubled teenage experiences of comedian Chris Rock while growing up in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York City. The show is set between 1982 and 1987, but Rock himself was a teenager between 1978 and 1983. Rock grew up with a boy named Kenny Montero, whom he has often referred to as the inspiration for a lot of the episodes. In many of his interviews, Rock has described Kenny as the reason he got into comedy in the first place. The show’s title parodies the hit CBS sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond, in which Rock stated: “Everybody Loves Raymond, but Everybody Hates Chris!”. The show’s lead actors are Tyler James Williams, Terry Crews, Tichina Arnold, Tequan Richmond, Imani Hakim, and Vincent Martella.

In 2008, the The CW moved Everybody Hates Chris and The Game to the Friday night death slot. The fourth season of the series premiered Friday, October 3, 2008, at 8:00PM Eastern/7:00PM Central. On May 21, 2009, The CW announced that it had cancelled Everybody Hates Chris. Prior to this, Rock announced that the end of season 4 matched up with his own past—dropping out of high school to become a comedian—and that it was time to end the show.

The series uses “mockumentary” techniques to depict the fictional, reality television-style adventures of enthusiastic professional critic Forrest MacNeil, who hosts a TV show called “Review” in which he engages in any life experience his viewers ask him to, to find out if that life experience “is any good”. Afterward, Forrest formally rates each life experience in-studio, on a one-to-five-star scale. However, Forrest’s compulsive curiosity and uncompromising commitment to the show unexpectedly backfire in ways that increasingly destroy his life as he is requested to review ‘stealing’, ‘drug addiction’, ‘being a racist’, ‘getting divorced’, ‘getting revenge’, and ‘running from the law.

Dancing with the Stars is a Logie Award-winning, Australian light entertainment reality show airing on the Seven Network and filmed live from the HSV-7 studios in Melbourne. The show is based on the United Kingdom BBC Television series Strictly Come Dancing and is part of BBC Worldwide’s international Dancing with the Stars franchise.

The show debuted in a short run from October to November 2004, then returned the following February. The show was picked up for a ninth season by Seven Network.

The show is a ratings success averaging around 2 million viewers a week nationally during its peak which places the series number 1 of the entire day.

Disney’s Goof Troop is an Animated Comedy television series from The Walt Disney Company featuring Goofy as a father figure and bonding with his son Max, and Pete, as his neighbor. Created by Peter Montgomery, the main series of 65 episodes ran in syndication from 1992 to 1993 on The Disney Afternoon, while an additional thirteen episodes ran on Saturday mornings on ABC. All That is an American live-action, sketch comedy-variety show that aired on the Nickelodeon cable television network featuring short comedic sketches and weekly musical guests. The theme song for All That was performed by TLC featuring Aileen Quinn. Early episodes were taped at the closed Nickelodeon Studios at Universal Orlando, but then moved to Hollywood at the Nickelodeon On Sunset theater, where shows like The Amanda Show, Kenan & Kel, and Drake & Josh were also filmed.

All That first aired on April 16, 1994, as a “sneak peek” and debuted as a regular series on December 24, 1994. It was also broadcast internationally, in countries such as the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, India, Japan, Malaysia, Spain and Canada.

All That lasted ten seasons before it was canceled in 2005. The final episode aired on October 22, 2005 on the Nickelodeon network. The show started out in the SNICK block until 2004, when the network converted the SNICK time-slot into a second night for TEENick. In fact, the second era castmembers would host SNICK as the “On Air Dare” would be played between shows during commercial breaks.
